OUGD403 Studio Brief 2 Making My Grid.

I started experimenting making a grid for my chose font but as I was intending on representing the uniformity of the word mechanical from the studio brief 1 I made the grid from the base letters of Helvetica but instead of putting in every line adjusted all the letters instead so that they all fit to a grid with very few lines. I did this as I believed doing this to Helvetica displayed the uniform sense of the word to from my studio brief 1. The adjusting of the grid allowed me to make the whole alphabet like Helvetica but in the most uniforms way, using the least lines in the grid. After a while of experimenting with this it all came together quite well to give me a drawn version of my grid of which I will take into illustrator to make a digital version of it soon.
