OUGD504 Studio Brief 01 - Final Outcome & Final Feedback

I printed the final outcome for the unit in the profession digital production facilities at the university and then took this to the formal feedback session in oder to obtain research from my peers on how they think my project went. The results were overwhelming as the response to my final outcome was brilliant and here are the reasons below;
The group firstly thought that outcome of the designing stage of the module went really well as the concept behind the ideas and the way that my unclear and messy design process was displayed through the rash and unplanned nature of a flow chart was very strong and allowed my to emphasise my personality through the design and eventually allow me to fully represent my design process through the leaflet itself.
They also thought that displaying the design process that any artist goes through when tackling the brief as a flow chart was perfect as everyone agreed that in their own experiences they could relate to the going back and forth that a brief can entail. At one point you can seem almost finished and then the next minute you're right back at step one, a never ending cycle.
The furthermore believed that chosen fold that was used to produce my final leaflet was very appropriate as a choice as it allowed me to display masses of information through it due to the nature of the horizontal nature of the fold but also the fact that this masses of information could then be folded up in to such a small pocket sized shape was ideal for the nature of the unit. and that the nature of the folded leaflet really leant itself to a step by step process.
Finally when it came down to the aesthetics of the design they agreed that as this is all centred around out learning curve and the evaluating out process in order to adapt and grow from it that to style the leaflet aesthetically to be somewhat reminiscent of school and learning that it was perfect for my final outcome.
