It had previously even decided after the feedback session that the logo design above is the idea generation that should be taken forward in to the final design outcome for the unit but that it needed some extra developments to finalise it as a whole. As I was informed to keep the use of illustrations down to a minimum due to the way that they can move the aesthetic of a design from classy, clean and professional to something overcomplicated and cliché the decision had been made to add some more examples of typography to the logo to complete it as it looked like it was lacking something from being completed. Also now that I had scrapped the use of illustrative crest and shield formats that I had previously outline was desirable I now needed a new way in which I could still represent what the crests and shields displayed with without the use of them and so therefore the earlier mentioned final type additions were added in semi-spherical formats in order to suggest this nature of strength and hardiness that was intended by the shields and badges without actually having to use them. The logo was brought to the final version by adding small vector flourishes normally seen in high level typographic logos like this and these flourished add the final finesse and here is the finalised logo below.
