Due to the fact that all of the earlier designing stage meant that all of the aspects of the the bottle packaging had already been designed and placed in to the mood-board this meant that all that had to be done to complete the bottle packaging was to rearrange and format the aspects in to the finalised label design. The goal was to keep the packaging simple, clean and welcoming and vibrant in colour.
The grass was added initially as a band wrapped around the base of the label that will span the whole label and bottle circumference. Each of the three different bottles of cider has its own pig illustrations that are specific to that bottle through the expressive typography of the name of the beer within the illustrations. The pig is placed walking through the grass. The orchard pig typography was then placed above the pig illustration and aligned with it to add continuity and professionalism. The 'Rooted In Somerset' feature was added at the top of the bottle to balance the label out but after some feedback it was advised that it look like it was floating in the design with no true purpose so instead I took the theoretical route and placed the statement under the grass band layout and moved the grass up. This made the whole label much more balanced and further enforced the notion that they are rooted in somerset as a company. The three bottles were then co-ordinated with the colours already applied to them from Orchard Pig in order to create brand continuity.
