To the prepare the images for the final stage of the design process where they would be distorted and manipulated they first would have to be edited to make them ready. Unfortunately the photography were taken on an Iphone 6 which all though it does have a good quality camera can produce the same results as a DSLR in this situation and therefore they weren't as good as they could possibly be, although this was inevitable as there was no access to better cameras at the time.
The first stage due to the way that they were taken was to resample the photographs so that the quality was improves, changing them from 72 pixels per inch to 300 pixels per inch meaning that they will appear much less pixelated if it was necessary to size them up and will be very clear printed at an appropriate size for this brief.
I was going to place the images in this blog post so that a difference could be seen in the changes between the raw photograph files that were posted in an earlier blog post and the now newly edited one but this wasn't appropriate as the resizing of the images has caused them to be too big to post on blogger.
The next stage of the editing stage was to level the photography so that the light input level were correct for the photo, optimising the lightest and darkest point in the photo and everything in between. My knowledge in to this area of photography was very beneficial as it make it a lot easier, due to the fact that I did a photography Alevel.
