Rather than outlining which direction that I should take in the completion of the project like research has in the past all that it has done is make me realise is there is any direction that I would like to take, as design for this industry can differ massively but this doesn't mean they the product wont be successful.
Firstly visually I discovered by looked at a range of the biggest selling competitors of Orchard pig is the style in which they are branded and packaged doesn't have to follow one distinct method as there is a range of different way that it can be taken, but this usually can be applied to two almost subcategories the first being super clean simple and minimal swiss inspired design, very modern and effective and this is contrasted with the other mother of which is a very bold, bright and brash approach utilising hand-rendered illustrative homely and welcoming approach. These methods are both very effective in conveying about the company different sides that each manufacturer would like to convey and choosing the right one to take is important in conveying the personality Orchard Pig as a company would like to convey. To be honest it would be most appropriate to combine both of these sides to design a campaign of which is both visually attractive, depictive of Orchard Pigs personality and displaying o their heritage of the company.
The final aspects that can be drawn from the research is that there is no one colour use within this style of design, as throughout the main competitors a vast range of colours have been used throughout, the main colour aspect taken from the research is that the bottle will have to be eye-catching and vibrant, but the specific colours don't actually matter. Relating the colours to each bottle is the best way to approach it.
