OUGD503 - YCN - Orchard Pig - Advertising

After the entire product and collateral design stage had finished it was now time to complete the aspects that would round off the campaign as a whole and is actually one of the most vital points of the campaign as it is what conveys the whole campaign to potential customers and eventually be what will work to achieve the end goal of getting existing customers and new potential customers knowledgeable and aware of Orchard Pig as a company. This aspect is the advertising of which would act as a gateway to getting more customers interested in the brand, not only by the way of plain advertising but also offering these potential customers an incentive to purchase the products. A few examples of the advertising were created as this diversity is what will maximise the potential of gaining new customers to the brand and multiple advertisements would be needed for different situations. 

A larger landscape advertisement was created that would be most appropriately found on a large billboard, this means of advertisement is very effective as it created a very large amount of interest in the brand simply due to the vast amount of people was may see it, and act upon seeing it potentially becoming a new fan. This would apply most to the retail outlets as this would act as a persuasion for customers to go to their local retailer and purchase the cider to sample it.
To go along side it for different circumstances a smaller portrait poster alternative was also designed as this would be most appropriate for different situations, similarly to the last example it could also act as a means in which it may influence potential customers to go to a retail outlet and purchase the cider but it also double as a more direct for of advertisement. As seen in the digital mock up it would be most appropriate in the right setting such as a pub or bar in which the customer would see the advertisement, and the incentive to try and be able to ample it their instantly, creating a buzz around the brand and what it sells.

The advertisements were designed so that they maintained a certain visual consistency with the campaign as a whole, helped to create brand notoriety of which is a very important aspects within packaging and branding. The same inviting and welcoming typeface used earlier in the design stage this time depicting "Buy two of these little piggies and get the third little piggy for free!" not only acting as an incentive for potential fans to try the brand but to also buy in larger quantities as they will receive an incentive for this.
The branding from the three bottles products is used in the advertisement so that it install the biggest sense of notoriety in to the brand for the customers, eventually becoming a symbol of which everyone will know and recognise. The design style was maintained simple and effective in the adverts in order to ensure that it conveys exactly what is needed to the passers by.
