As mentioned in the prior blog entry, the choice of which typeface to decide to go along with the hand rendered aesthetic of the rest of the campaign design. It had been discovered while researching these style of typefaces that the nature of trying to be inviting and welcoming often undesirably comes along with a more feminine and script style typeface and this doesn't represent Orchard Pig as a company or what they are about at all and so to find a hand rendered aesthetic type face that avoid this is vitally important.
These script style typefaces also encountered problems in the way that they also can be barely legible or straight forward and instead what was desired to me was that I could fins a hand rendered aesthetic typeface that was simple and legible so that it conveys exactly what is wanted to potential customers without and trouble at all, but while doing these accurately represents the welcoming and warming nature of the company.
The typeface seen below "Amatic" was discovered through he research stage and was perfect for the aesthetic desired for my final outcomes at it effectively conveyed the welcoming feeling desired, while still being simple and effective in its conveying of information, as an vital aspect to this campaign because without this ease of conveying information to potential customers the brand may not receive the recognition it needs to grow. Although the typeface only offered capitalised characters this would still be appropriate of the project as it only helped the simple and effective nature that was desired.
