OUGD503 - YCN - Orchard Pig - Plan

The nature of these larger briefs set by big design awarding body means that because of the fact that the brief require designers to design and create a whole overarching campaign, with all elements planned and executed proficiently, therefore that this brief will entail a very high work load and therefore meticulous planning and organisation will be needed. So forth the best place to begin the brief is to make a plan of the different design process stages that will be taken in this brief, and how long these stages will have to be completed. The next challenge will be sticking to the plan!

I am going to aim to turn over this brief in three weeks as realistically this is more than enough time to complete the brief as a whole with all that it entails, but giving any more time than this just wouldn't be appropriate for what the timescale would be if this brief was one in the professional industry for a client.

Week 1

Research - 4 Days
Initial Ideas & Sketches- 3 Days
Feedback

Week 2

Idea Development - 3 Days
Packaging Construction - 4 Days
Feedback

Week 3

Collateral Development - 3 Days
Advertising - 3 Days
Final Touches - 1 Day
Feedback

Although the completion of the brief will span three weeks it would be unreasonable to attempt or expect this to be completed in three consecutive week due to me having to balance this with a lot of other projects at the same time, and therefore it will take me longer than three weeks to complete it will have a total of three weeks worth of work constructing it as I will dedicate every whole day to developing a certain project only that day.
